Privacy & Information Handling Statement

How your personal information is collected, stored, used, and eventually discarded when you engage with this coaching practice.

LAST UPDATED ยท SEPTEMBER 2026

As a coach, I hold a position of trust while people work through burnout, transition and the search for a more balanced life. Protecting the confidentiality and dignity of the people I support is not only a legal obligation โ€” it is the foundation of safe, ethical practice. This statement explains plainly what happens to your information.

What information is held

To provide care I keep records that may include your name and contact details, session booking times, assessment responses, clinical notes taken during our work together, and any documents you choose to share. You provide this information voluntarily; nothing is collected through hidden tracking of your device.

How your information is stored

All records are held in a secure, access-controlled database hosted on the Base44 platform, with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the practitioner (myself) and, where strictly necessary for system operation, the platform provider. Your records are never sold, shared with marketers, or disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent or a lawful requirement.

How long it is kept

Active client records are retained for the duration of our engagement and for a defined period afterwards to support continuity of care and to meet professional record-keeping obligations. Assessment and session notes are kept only as long as they remain relevant to your care or as required by law.

How your information is discarded

When records are no longer needed, they are permanently and irreversibly deleted from the database. You may request deletion of your records at any time โ€” I will action a full erasure of your personal information, including session notes and assessment data, within 30 days of a verified request, except where the law requires certain items to be retained.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information is held about you, to request a copy, to correct anything that is inaccurate, and to ask for its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a concern about how your information has been handled, contact me directly and I will respond promptly and in good faith.

A NOTE ON CONSUMER SAFETY

Coaching is non-medical and non-therapeutic. It does not replace medical, psychological, or mental-health treatment. If at any point your safety is at risk, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified health professional immediately. Your wellbeing always comes first.
